In light of the global trend toward carbon neutrality,
we are working to help realize the decarbonized society Japan is striving for.
We are doing this by supporting the attainment of sustainability goals by customers,
and promoting the reduction/elimination of carbon in thermal power generation.
This is achieved through development of renewable energy power generation,
and supply of renewable electric power and environmental value.

Message

Signing of the 2015 Paris Agreement accelerated the global trend toward decarbonization. In October 2020, the Japanese government declared "Carbon Neutrality by 2050" and this spurred action by companies, local governments, and others inside Japan toward reduction of greenhouse gases.

The business of Mitsubishi Corporation Clean Energy is focused on developing renewable power generation and carbon-free thermal power, and providing solutions to customers to help them achieve carbon neutrality. In addition to the electric power trading and generation business experience our company has accumulated in Japan over many years, we will make maximal use of the business knowledge of the Mitsubishi Corporation Group both inside and outside Japan. Going forward, we will continue offering flexible proposals for realizing carbon neutrality, while keeping abreast of global trends.

We will contribute to regional revitalization by promoting power generation development in symbiosis with nature and local communities, and on that basis we will contribute to the realization of sustainable society.
